Owen Ritger joined the newspaper staff in the winter of 2024. In addition to writing stories for The Blue and Gold, Owen enjoys playing basketball, where he can spend quality time with his friends. Owen decided to join The Blue and Gold because he loves creative writing and writing about stories that he is interested in. In the future, he hopes to continue writing about topics he loves, and to play basketball throughout college.
