Monica Nelson became a member of The Blue & Gold in the winter of her sophomore year. She joined to fuel her passion for discovering all aspects of the Marist community and found this enthusiasm within The Blue & Gold staff. Monica participates in cross country, soccer, track, and numerous Marist clubs. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, painting, playing the guitar, and babysitting. In the future, she hopes to travel to Australia and learn to surf.
