Ian Westfall joined The Blue and Gold staff in 2024. In addition to writing as a member of the newspaper, he enjoys playing lacrosse, lifting weights, and hanging out with his three dogs: Winston, Walter, and Jeremy. He is a member of the Film Club and the Investors Club and plans to pursue a career in the business world after high school. His favorite bands are Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Hall & Oates.
