Gurbani Cheema joined the newspaper staff in her freshman year due to her passion in exploring issues that shape our world. Along with this passion to write, Gurbani Cheema is a member of Marist’s speech and debate club as well as MBC. When Gurbani is not debating or writing, she is swimming, playing tennis, or participating in a musical. In the future, Gurbani hopes to pursue a career in the medical field and become a surgeon.
